Each bride has two hours to work with their consultant in a private bridal suite. Your appointment will start with getting yourself and your guests settled in your bridal suite, followed by a conversation about your dream dress, and a walk through the bridal collection. You are welcome to try on as many gowns as time allows until you have found YOUR dress. The last 20 minutes of your appointment will be reserved for getting your measurements, making final dress decisions, and taking memorable photos of you and your guests.
We believe that you should be able to shop for your wedding dress for free. There is no bridal appointment fee, however, you will be required to put a credit card on file at the time of booking in case of a last minute cancelation or no-show. Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment date will incur a $50.00 fee, while no show appointments will be charged $75.00.
We are happy to accommodate walk-in brides if we have a bridal stylist and bridal suite available. Please note that scheduled appointments will take precedence over walk-ins. If you would like to schedule a same-day appointment, please call or text 317-391-0296.
We offer two private bridal suites. Suzy’s Sanctuary is perfect for a bride plus 1- 4 guests, while Alicia’s Hideaway is perfect for a bride plus 1- 6 guests. If you plan on bringing 5 - 6 guests with you, please be mindful to book an appointment in Alicia’s Hideaway. We have found that having a few loving and supportive opinions can be very helpful and comforting to the bride, however, more opinions are not always better. If you have a large bridal party or family who may want to attend but may be too much for the decision-making process, we recommend inviting them to the try-on appointment when you pick up your dress from the store. Although children are welcome to your appointment, we do not have children's play areas or activities.
Trying on wedding dresses is a very intimate process. You will be in a dressing room, being assisted into and out of the gowns by a bridal consultant. It is required that underwear is worn and most brides feel more comfortable in a modest selection. Most gowns will have built-in bra support so a bra is not required but may be worn if modesty is a concern. The more comfortable you are, the more successful your appointment will be.
Special-ordered dresses will vary in delivery dates depending on the time of year and the individual designer. In some instances, a designer may have a gown in stock and ready to ship immediately. In other instances, gowns may take 4-6 months before shipping, as they are made to order. Your bridal consultant will be aware of your wedding timeline and work through the timing process during your appointment.
YES! Any gown in our special order collection can be purchased off the rack at a 10% discount. We also have an entire off-the-rack collection of discontinued samples from design lines we no longer carry for $750.
While our gowns can be special ordered in any sizes 0-34, we stock sizes 10-30 in-store. Please note, bridal sizes are not the same as standard sizing. Bridal sizing varies greatly depending on the designer and tends to run 2-4 sizes smaller than what casual clothing sizes run. Precise measurements will be taken and compared to designer size charts before gowns are ordered.
We offer many incentives to help brides stay within budget. There is a 10% discount for any gown purchased from the special order collection off-the-rack. We offer payment policies in which only 50% of the purchase price is due at the time of purchase.
Special-ordered gowns require 50% deposit to place the order. The remaining balance is due at your pick-up appointment. Off-the-rack gowns can be paid in full on your appointment day or can be divided into 2 payments, 50% is required to reserve your gown and 50% within 30 days of purchase. All gowns will be held in the store until all payments have been received.
Our collections are priced between $750 and $3000, with most items falling in the range of $1500 to $2000. For special order gowns, a 50% deposit is needed to place the order.
Our bridal appointments are free however, there is a $50 appointment cancelation fee for any appointment that is canceled within 48 hours of the appointment and a $75.00 fee for no-shows. A credit card will be required to reserve your appointment but will not be charged if an appointment is kept or modified with at least 48-hour's notice.
All sales are final. Special order gowns cannot be canceled once the order has been placed. If you change your mind after placing a deposit on an off-the-rack gown, your deposit will be forfeited.
We do not offer in-house alterations. We have partnered with a few local alterations specialists who are happy to take over for us once your gown arrives. You will be provided with contact information for the alterations specialists we know, trust, and recommend at the time of your gown purchase. You are also welcome to take your gown to any alterations specialist you may have worked with in the past or who is more conveniently located to your home.
It depends! Each dress will have different requirements and challenges when it comes to alterations. We make every effort to get your dress as close to a perfect fit as possible so that alteration fees stay as low as possible. Each alterations specialist will set their own prices so you may want to ask around to get a variety of quotes to choose from! The choice is ultimately yours.
